ART 317 - Intermediate PhotographyCredit Hour(s): 3 Designed for photographers who wish to expand their knowledge of printing. Students develop conceptual approaches to image-making, cultivate an understanding of the relationship of photography to culture and learn to speak critically of their own and others work. Students participate in critical and theoretical reading, study of significant historic and contemporary photographers, lectures and discussions in a seminar setting. Students must provide a 35 mm camera, with a manually adjustable shutter and aperture, all other materials and digital tools will be provided. This course has an additional fee. 3 Credit(s). 6 Contact Hour(s).
Meets Fine Arts Requirement. Prerequisite(s): ART 217 .
