HHP 410 - NCSA Prep: Certified Strength & Conditioning SpecialistCredit Hour(s): 4 This 4 credit course provides an overview of strength and conditioning. Emphasis is placed on exercise sciences (anatomy, exercise physiology, and biomechanics) and nutrition, exercise technique, program design, organization and administration, and testing and evaluation. Additionally, this course is designed to prepare students for the nationally accredited Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification exam. Students will register and take the certification exam through the NSCA. 4 Credit(s).
