The Minor in Athletic Coaching and Leadership empowers students to become innovative, ethical, and effective leaders within the fields of sport and recreation. The collaborative curriculum that blends hands-on experience with academic rigor, students develop the essential skills in coaching, injury prevention, sport psychology, program planning, and risk management. Our program fosters a collaborative learning environment where students not only refine their leadership abilities but also gain a deep understanding of the dynamics of team sports, recreation programming, and athletic, event, or recreation administration.
