The mission of the Health Sciences: Veterinary Science program is to provide students with interdisciplinary coursework, thoughtfully planned experiences, and personal advising to prepare them for successful application and acceptance to graduate programs such as Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and others.

The Pre-Vet Emphasis is designed to serve as a pre-professional course of study for students interested in programs and careers in veterinary medicine (DVM) or more broadly veterinary science.
