BIO 240 - Human Genetics

[NSM] This course introduces students to the basic concepts of human genetics and genomics. Including consideration of familial inheritance and pedigree analysis, gene structure and organization, mutation and variation, genetic basis of normal development and of cancer. Consideration of social and ethical implications of topics like genetic testing, gene therapy and gene editing. 3 Credit(s).
