ART 215 - PhotoshopCredit Hour(s): 4 [HFA] This is an introduction to Adobe Photoshop, which is the cross-industry standard software for editing raster-based images. They will work from a variety of sources including stock images, scans, personal images and their own unique in system compositions. Students will be introduced to the techniques of creating, editing and processing images in the Photoshop environment and organizational skills within Adobe Bridge. Connections to analogue studio techniques will be introduced, including visits to the chemical process photography lab. This is not a photography course and students are not required to purchase a camera. This course has an additional fee. 4 Credit(s). 8 Contact Hour(s).
