NUR 538 - Complex Healthcare Systems

This course focuses on advanced processes and skills needed to support safe, high quality nursing care through leadership and management at the organizational and systems level. Students will focus on connecting, challenging and embracing a change improvement within a complex healthcare system. The influence of systems level concepts on providing quality and safe person-centered nursing care are addressed. Principles related to solution strategies within the environment are emphasized. 4 Credit(s).
