This course focuses on knowledge of informatics within healthcare settings. Nursing informatic skills will be explored to support the application and distribution of data/information to generate knowledge, information literacy, EMR use, and all
aspects of documentation. Nursing informatics skills are used to synthesize and integrate nursing science with computer, information, and cognitive sciences.
