SWK 370 - Social Work Communication SkillsCredit Hour(s): 3 This course is the first of a three-course practice sequence. The primary focus is on communication theory and skills as applied to social work with individuals, families, small groups, communities and organizations. Knowledge, values and skills for entry-level generalist practice in a variety of settings. The social work porblem-solving process, ethnic-sensative assumptions and the worker’s regard for person-environment configuration.
