CHM 420 - Medicinal ChemistryCredit Hour(s): 3 Medicinal Chemistry will introduce students to the fundamental concepts of medicinal chemistry from a bioorganic perspective. The impact of both chemical and biological concepts on drug design and therapeutic applications will also be discussed. Topics covered will include a study of the drug structure and the corresponding impacts on drug action, solubility, delivery, target binding, metabolism and interactions. 3 Credit(s).
